Separate infrastructures and facilities has been established for the TIFAC-CORE on Machine Vision at Rajalakshmi Engineering College.

The facilities includes:

• Class rooms for conducting training programmes
• Conference rooms for conducting seminars/conferences
• and other office facilities

A state-of-the-art Machine Vision Laboratory is being set up at the TIFAC-CORE. Machine vision systems for phase I have been setup in the laboratory.

The laboratory at present is equipped with the following:

• One PPT vision system which includes the smart camera, various lighting and I/O interface and vision program manager software.
• Nine Spot-It v2 smart cameras with lighting system and I/O interface and soliton vision artist software.

TIFAC-CORE at REC also accomodates a separate library. The library has a rich collection of text books, reference books, national and international journals related to machine vision and image processing
